A joint commitment to oncology research in Romagna

The Amadori Foundation strengthens its commitment to oncology research in the area by supporting two key projects of the IRCCS - Istituto Romagnolo per lo Studio dei Tumori "Dino Amadori" (IRST) and the IOR - Istituto Oncologico Romagnolo. A contribution designed to generate immediate impact, where innovation can really change people's lives.

The Foundation's support for IRST's program includes a four-year grant of 200,000 euros earmarked for the Cell Factory in Meldola. Here advanced cancer therapies are developed, allowing the Institute to consolidate a frontier role in personalized medicine and offer patients increasingly advanced therapeutic paths.

In parallel, the Foundation contributed to the purchase of a new machine dedicated to the project on "risk of intrahospital infections" for the initiation of heterologous cell treatments, promoted with the IOR. The equipment was delivered last October 20 to Meldola Hospital, an occasion when the Foundation's President, Gianluca Giovannetti, met with the research teams.

<< The decision to support this important research project with the Foundation is the result of the collective work of more than 9,000 people. Every small gesture, every contribution, represents the value of a community working with commitment and responsibility. >> said Giovannetti, stressing the importance of a collective commitment oriented toward the future.
