Animals live in appropriate spaces and receive a balanced diet. We closely follow the evolution of best farming practices, including cage-free models for the species concerned, with a view to promoting ever-higher standards of animal welfare.
In our supply chains we do not use antibiotics for preventive purposes, while within the supply chains of excellence - Il Campese, Quality 10+ Supply Chain, Amadori Brand Organic Supply Chain and Lenti Supply Chain Excellence - these drugs are never used.
We also carefully manage transport and slaughtering, following international best practices and high standards of hygiene and safety.
